Suzlon Energy is trading higher by 3.3% at Rs 21.80 after the company said that Suzlon Group has signed a contract for a 21.75 MW project with Sri Kumarswamy Mineral Exports Private Limited, Bellary.
“The project comprises nine units of Suzlon’s S66-1.25 MW and five units of Suzlon’s S88-2.1 MW wind turbines, is set to commission in the Dindigul and Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu by the end of March 2013,” Suzlon Group, the world’s fifth leading and India’s largest wind turbine manufacturer said in a statement.
The stock opened at Rs 21.25 and hit a high of Rs 21.95 on NSE. As many as a combined 36.69 million shares have already changed hands on the counter so far against an average sub 37 million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks.
