The market is still witnessing weak trends following sustained selling pressure in select heavyweights, tech and other old economy stocks. Although buying is seen in select mid-cap counters, the Sensex in the afternoon trades, is down 21 points at 6,658. The Nifty has slipped further to 2,108 - down seven points.Advances are slightly weaker against the declines, with 1,217 losers and 1,086 gainers.Reliance has dropped 2.18% (Rs 12) to Rs 531. ITC has lost a per cent (Rs 11) to Rs 1,302. HLL (up Rs 2 to Rs 147) is holding on to its gains.Infosys (down Rs 20 to Rs 2,097) and Wipro (down Rs 3 to Rs 750) are still languishing in negative territories. Satyam at Rs 414 (up Rs 2) is trading with steady gains.SBI is down a per cent (Rs 6) at Rs 650.BHEL has lost 1.88% (Rs 15) to Rs 780. While Reliance is down Rs 2 at Rs 560, Tata Power has rolled back into the green to Rs 402 - up Rs 4.Bharti has slipped a per cent (Rs 2) to Rs 225, and Hindalco is down a per cent (Rs 9) at Rs 1,433.Zee is trading firm with a gain of 4% (Rs 7) at Rs 179. While ACC has moved up nearly 2% (Rs 7) to Rs 348, HPCL is up 1.14% (Rs 5) at Rs 412.Select capital goods stocks have eased on selling pressure. HMT has shed 4.83% (Rs 3) to Rs 50, and Praj Industries has declined 2.60% to Rs 275. Gammon, Dredging and Alstom are down 2% each at Rs 760, Rs 481 and Rs 90, respectively. SKF is trading lower by 1.55% at Rs 156.Tata Tele has notched up 7.13% gains (Rs 2) to Rs 36, on a volume of over 1.43 crore. Cummins, with a volume of over 74.31 lakh, has shot up 6.29% (Rs 8) to Rs 131, off its early high of Rs 138. Himachal Futuristics, on a volume of over 63.88 lakh, has flared up 9.90% (Rs 2) to Rs 22.Core Healthcare has hit the lower circuit breaker of 9.30% at Rs 27.Cummins is leading the value chart with a turnover of Rs 90 crore, followed by Bharti (Rs 84 crore), Reliance (Rs 70 crore), Tata Tele (Rs 51 crore) and SBI (Rs 37 crore), respectively.
