TCS ends flat in a weak market

TCS ended flat at Rs 620. Around 204,181 shares were traded throughout the day on the counter at the BSE.

TCS today opened at Rs 628, up 1% from the previous close after the company signed a five year contract with UK based automobile maker Volswagen Group.

The stock is currently trading flat at Rs 619, down Rs 4. Around 13,214 stocks have been traded on the counter at the BSE in the early trades.

This contract will help in delivering IT transformation and support services. The company will support Volswagen to meet its aim in selling more cars, parts and to drive down the costs.This is the very first time that Volkswagen has adopted an onshore-offshore model for its IT systems.
