After moving with 70 points gain till early noon trades, the market has scaled up in mid-noon trades as buying has flared up in old and new economy stocks. While the Sensex, after clocking a high of 6,548, has gained 97 points to 6,540, the Nifty has advanced 28 points to 2,043.Infosys has jumped 2.40% (Rs 52) to Rs 2,211. Satyam has advanced 4.26% (Rs 16) to Rs 404, while Wipro is up 1.48% (Rs 10) at Rs 656.SBI is up 1.36% (Rs 9) at Rs 675. While HDFC Bank has advanced 3% (Rs 16) to Rs 535, ICICI Bank is up 2% (Rs 8) at Rs 398.Reliance has moved up 1.77% (Rs 10) to Rs 570. While ONGC has surged 1.69% (Rs 14) to Rs 865, HLL is up a tad at Rs 135 after a subdued opening session. ITC, however, is still trading in the red at Rs 1,313- down Rs 8.L&T at Rs 1,005 (up Rs 31 or 3,20%), HDFC at Rs 712 (up Rs 21 or 3%), Tata Power at Rs 354 (up Rs 13 or 3.89%) and Tisco (up Rs 8 or 1.83% to Rs 421) have firmed up on extended buying support.Dr. Reddy's (up Rs 15 or 1.94% to Rs 766), Ranbaxy (up Rs 13 or 1.24% to Rs 1,067) and Cipla (up Rs 4 or 1.67% to Rs 258) are trading with steady gains.Maruti has jumpe3d 3.72% (Rs 15) to Rs 428 on fresh buying. While Tata Motors is up a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 420, Bajaj continues to trade at lower levels at Rs 1,020 - down Rs 18 or 1.73%.
