Ujjwal Kanti Ain, chief manager for Bank of India, was not impressed with the kind of brief he got from his friends in Kolkata about the food available in restaurants of Ahmedabad, where he was transferred. He was also scared by a colleague who was earlier posted in Gujarat about the scarcity of quality non-vegetarian food in the state.

With much apprehension, Ain landed up in the city. Three years later, he does not want to move out of Ahmedabad, finding the city suitable in every respect, yes even from the respect of food
