Themis Medicare has soared 14% to Rs 470 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), after the company announced a fund raising plan through the issue of equity shares on a preferential basis to non-promoters.
“The board meeting to be held on May 11, 2016, to consider a proposal for issue of equity shares of the company on preferential basis to the non-promoters,” Themis Medicare said in a statement. "The board will also consider the audited financial results for the quarter and year ended on March 31, 2016," it added.
At 01:35 PM, the stock was up 12% at Rs 459 on the BSE. A combined 12,707 shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE so far.
