The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 32 points to 11,181. After advancing to higher levels the index slipped into the negative zone to touch a low of 11,069.Fresh buying at lower levels saw the index rebound into the positive zone and touch a high of 11,241 - up 172 points from the day's low.The Sensex pared some gains towards the close before ending with a gain of 43 points at 11,192.In the process the index finished higher for the third straight week, gaining 3% (326 points).The market breadth was fairly positive - out of 2,511 stocks traded, 1,700 advanced, 746 declined and the rest were unchanged.INDEX MOVERS & SHAKERSHero Honda rallied 3.5% to Rs 697. Reliance surged over 3% to Rs 1,011. NTPC added 2.5% to Rs 125.Infosys, Grasim and Cipla moved up 2% each to Rs 1,742, Rs 2,192 and Rs 241, respectively.Tata Steel has added 1.7% to Rs 525. Bajaj Auto was up 1% at Rs 2,658.ICICI Bank dropped over 2.5% to Rs 585. Wipro declined 1.7% to Rs 507.Reliance Communications shed 1.5% to Rs 280. Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and HDFC were down 1% each at Rs 404, Rs 166 and Rs 1,264, respectively.VALUE & VOLUME TOPPERSReliance topped the value chart with a turnover of Rs 237.50 crore followed by Infosys (Rs 115.15 crore), Suzlon (Rs 95.15 crore), Reliance Communications (Rs 87 crore) and Tata Steel (Rs 86.76 crore).Harig Cranks led the volume chart with trades of around 52 lakh shares followed by Gitanjali Gems (43.65 lakh), Aftek Infosys (36.78 lakh), Himachal Futuristic (34.10 lakh) and Reliance Natural Resources (33.10 lakh).
