Toor dal, urad, sugar prices decline

Prices of toor dal, urad dal, sugar and maida declined in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review.

Thoor dal moved down by Rs 100 on Wednesday at Rs 5,900 and ended at the same rate today over its previous week's rate of Rs 6,000.

Urad dal opened the week at Rs 6,100 on Monday and declined to Rs 6,000 on Wednesday and further declined to Rs 5,900 today over its previous week's price of Rs 6,000.

Sugar dropped by Rs 50 to Rs 3,000 from its last week's rate of Rs 3,050.

Maida (90 kg) moved down by Rs 50 today to Rs 1,700 from last week's rate of Rs 1,750.
