TTK Prestige has slipped 7% to Rs 3,567 after reporting 16% year-on-year (yoy) fall in its net profit at Rs 25.79 crore for the quarter ended June 2013 due to higher raw material cost. The houseware maker had made a profit of Rs 30.68 crore in the year ago quarter.
The company’s net sales grew marginally by 1% at Rs 306 crore against Rs 303 crore during the recently concluded quarter. Raw material cost increased 33% at Rs 105 crore on yoy basis.
The stock opened at Rs 3,831 and hit a high of Rs 3,899 on BSE. A combined 122,805 shares changed hands on the counter so far on BSE and NSE.
