Turmeric futures prices fell by Rs 68, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 15,330 per quintal today, as speculators booked profits.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange platform, turmeric for delivery in October fell by Rs 68, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 15,330 per quintal, with an open interest of 11,330 lots.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in November lost Rs 28, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 13,216 per quintal, with an open interest of 8,990 lots. It hit a high of Rs 13,380 per quintal in the previous session.
