Turmeric and jeera prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today due to supply pressure following arrival of new season crop and weak demand.
Turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 10,300-15,300 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also declined by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 14,300-14,600 and Rs 16,500-16,600 per quintal, respectively.
Market analysts said trading sentiments turned weak on adequate stocks in the market following arrival of new season crop amid weak local and overseas demand.
