Turmeric and jeera prices fell further by Rs 100 per quintal each in the national capital today, as demand from retailers and exporters declined.
Adequate stocks following fresh arrivals from the producing belts also kept pressure on the prices. Turmeric prices fell further by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 16,200-19,700 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also traded lower at Rs 14,000-14,200 and Rs 15,000-15,600, against the previous closing of Rs 14,100-14,300 and Rs 15,100-15,700 per quintal, respectively.
