Prices of urad and gram declined by up to Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on adequate stocks position against lack of buying support.
Traders said easy availability of stocks against lack of buying led to the decline in urad and gram prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local fell by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,950-4,350 and Rs 4,850-5,250 per quintal, respectively.
Its dal best quality and dhoya also lost Rs 50 each to Rs 5,350-5,850 and Rs 5,300-5,400 per quintal, respectively. Gram, gram dal local and best quality also traded lower by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,225-2,250, Rs 2,500-2,515 and Rs 2,600-2,700 per quintal, respectively.
Besin (shakti bhog) and (Rajadhani) eased to Rs 1,150 each against last close of 1,190 each per 35 kg.
