Urad, its dal decline in thin trade

Urad and its dal prices declined by up to Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today, owing to slackness in demand.  

Traders said sluggish demand against easy availability of stocks in the market led to the decline in urad and its dal prices.

In the national capital, urad shed Rs 20 to Rs 3,900-4,400, while its dal chilka local lost Rs 50 to Rs 4,800-5,200 per quintal.

Masoor small 3,150-3,350, bold 3,300-3,550, Dal Masoor local 3,700-3,800, best quality 4,000-4,300, Malka local 3,600-3,650, best 3,750-3,850, Moth 2,400-2,700, Arhar 3,550-4,050, dal arhar dara 5,100-5,500
