Urad, its dal decline on sluggish demand

In limited deals, urad and its dal prices declined up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today owing to slackness in demand against adequate stocks.

Traders said sluggish demand against adequate stocks position led to fall in urad and its dal.

In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 30 and Rs 100 to Rs 3,800-4,200 and Rs 4,580-4,980 per quintal, respectively.

Its dal best quality and dhoya shed Rs 100 each to Rs 5,200-5,700 and Rs 5,050-5,150 per quintal, respectively.
