Urad and moong prices up to Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on good buying by stockists followed by pick up in retailers demand.
Restricted arrivals from producing regions further fuelled the uptrend.
In the national capital, urad inched up by Rs 100 to Rs 5,100-5,650 per quintal. Its dal chilka local and best quality gained Rs 100 each to Rs 6,600-7,000 and Rs 6,800-7,100, while dhoya traded higher by the same margin at Rs 7,000-7,100 per quintal.
Moong Maharashtra and its dal chilka local was up by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,700-7,000 and Rs 7,650-8,050 per quintal.
