US markets tumbled on the last day of the trading week, with Dow Jones dropping 40 points to close at 10,427 and the Nasdaq ending 11 points lower at 2,036.Indian floats, however, bucked the downtrend and ended with steady gains. Infosys gained nearly 2% to $63.78 and Wipro was up a notch at $21.46. Satyam, however, ended marginally lower at $23.21.VSNL moved up 2.38% to $9.46. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Dr. Reddy's finished with modest gains at $42, $18.72 and $17.26, respectively.
