The US markets came off their intra-day highs in a late sell-off to end virtually unchanged.
The Dow closed at 10841, higher by five points, while Nasdaq and S&P shed one point each at 2397 and 1165 respectively.
The Indian ADRs ended mixed. Among the gainers, ICICI Bank closed at $41, stronger by $0.8 or 2.1% and HDFC Bank ended at $134, higher by $3.7 or 2.8%.
On the other hand, MTNL ended at $3.2, weaker by 2.1%, Tata Motors closed at $17, lower by 1.7% and Tata Communication shut at $12, down 1.4%.
