US indices posted steady gains on Thursday despite series of bomb blasts that ripped through the city of London yesterday. While the Dow Jones added 32 points to 10,302, the Nasdaq was up seven points at 2,076.Indian floats, however, largely finished with losses. Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors and MTNL ended with a per cent loss each. While Dr. Reddy's, too, closed lower, ICICI Bank and VSNL, however, bucked the downtrend and posted slim gains.
