US markets slipped on Monday ahead of vital economic data, including Federal Reserve's statement on interest rates, due this week.
The Dow slipped 32 points to 9,338. The Nasdaq dipped eight points to 1,992.
Indian ADRs were in the red.
ICICI Bank and MTNL slumped 5.5% each to $29.75 and $3.96, respectively. Dr Reddy's has tumbled 4% to $16.16.
HDFC Bank slipped 3% to $95.49. Tata Communications, Tata Motors and Sterlite dipped 2.5% each. Infosys was down 1% at $43.13.
On the other hand, Patni Computers added 3.5% to $15.21. Wipro was up 2% at $15.65.
