Reversing a trend witnessed during the last fiscal and even earlier this year, mutual fund giant Unit Trust of India (UTI) has reported a net inflow during the first three-and-a-half months of its financial year (July to June).
Gross inflows were to the tune of Rs 2,600 crore, while net inflows were to the tune of Rs 274 crore.
UTI chairman M Damodaran said that it was an encouraging trend since in the whole of last fiscal gross inflows had been to the tune of Rs 2,200 crore, while outflows had been Rs 10,000 crore.
