V-Guard Industries nears 52-week high after huge block deal

Around 2.32 million equity shares representing 7.7% of total equity of V-Guard Industries changed hands, the BSE data shows.

V-Guard Industries has moved higher by 10% to Rs 1,010 on the BSE after a huge block deal executed on the counter. The stock is trading close to 52-week high of Rs 1,050 touched on May 4, 2015 in intra-day trade.

At 02.52 pm, around 2.32 million equity shares representing 7.7% of total equity of V-Guard Industries changed hands, the BSE data shows.

The name of the buyer and seller not immediately ascertain.

Nalanda India Equity Fund (4.34%) and Nalanda India Fund (2.63%) have collectively held 6.97% stake in V-Guard Industries as of March 2016, the shareholding pattern data shows.

At 03:17 pm, the stock was up 6% at Rs 977 on the BSE as compared to 0.67% decline in the S&P BSE Sensex.
