Vascon Engineers soars 20% second day in a row on Rs 245 crore order win

The company has received contract worth of Rs 130 crore from UP Housing and Development Board and another Rs 115 crore from Sheth Creators, Mumbai.

Vascon Engineers is locked in upper circuit for second day in a row, up 20% at Rs 25.90 on the NSE after the company said it has bagged two projects worth Rs 245 crore.

Out of the total, a contract worth of Rs 130 crore is from UP Housing and Development Board, Lucknow for construction of multistoried flats at Lucknow, the realty firm said in a statement.

The second contract worth about Rs 115 crore is from Sheth Creators for construction of residential building at Mumbai, it added.

At 0950 hours, a combined 142,093 shares changed hands on the counter and there are pending buy orders for 84,000 shares on the NSE and BSE.
