The Wall Street ended on a positive note on Monday. The Dow Jones industrial average gained 299 points at 8,934. The Nasdaq was up 62 points at 1,572.
The Indian ADRs, too, ended on a strong note. Tata Communications zoomed over 16% at $18.87 while Sterlite surged nearly 16% at $5.4. Wipro gained 11.39% at $7.43.
Genpact and Infosys surged 9% each at $7.9 and $25.9, respectively.
HDFC Bank and MTNL gained over 8.5% each at $63.91 and $3, respectively.
ICICI Bank added 5.6% to $16.2. Patni Computers, Dr Reddy's and were the other gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Motors, the only loser among the ADRs, plunged 8.84% at $4.33.
