The Wall Street rallied smartly on Monday after the US government agreed to bailout Citigroup - the said company's share soared over 60% in yesterday's trades.
The Dow Industrial Average index rallied 397 points to 8,443. The Nasdaq surged 88 points to 1,472.
The Indian ADRs, too, zoomed sharply. ended with significant losses. Tata Communications skyorcketed over 27% to $18.50. Wipro soared 15% to $7.45, and HDFC Bank surged 13% to $54.55. Infosys, Genpact, Satyam, ICICI Bank, MTNL and Tata Motors rallied 6-10% each.
