Wall St slips on profit taking; Indian ADRs end mixed

The Wall Street slipped on Friday amid fresh concerns on the financia sector and a 4% drop in crude oil prices. The Dow Jones industrial average index dropped 148 points to 7,776. The Nasdaq shed 42 points at 1,545.

Indian ADRs, however, ended on a mixed note. Infosys plunged 7.5% to $25.91. Wipro tumbled over 5% to $7.40, and HDFC Bank shed 4.5% at $61.01. Satyam, Patni Computers and Tata Communications were down around 2% each.

On the other hand, Tata Motors zoomed nearly 9% to $5.05. MTNL surged 4% to $2.84, and Genpact gained nearly 3% at $8.48.
