Walnut prices up in thin trade

Walnut prices rose by Rs 5 per 40 kg on the wholesale dry fruits market today on improved retailers demand against less arrivals. 

Elsewhere, other dry fruits moved in a narrow range in restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels. 

Traders said walnut prices traded higher by Rs 5 to Rs 165-230 per 40 kg. Its kernel also inched up by Rs 2 to Rs 452-702 per kg.
