The Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) segment of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 5,277.21 crore in 137 trades.

The 9.15% government securities maturing in 2024, which traded at Rs 1310.00 crore at a weighted yield of 8.36%, the 8.79% government securities maturing in 2021, which traded at Rs 805.00 crore at a weighted yield of 8.33% and the 364-days Treasury bills (issue no.310513), which traded at Rs 525.00 crore at a weighted yield of 7.95%.
During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 22,131.23 crore and the total number of trades during the week at 723.
The highest amount of trade during the week was at Rs 5,277.21 crore as today, while the lowest volume Rs 3,554.80 crore as on Jun 6.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 0.00%, 0.00%, 0.00% and 8.38%, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.16%, it was 8.14% for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 8.00% for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs.18,818.33 crore, trading in Non- Government securities was at Rs 3,312.90 crore, representing 85.03% and 14.97% of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
