<b>Week Ahead:</b> Strong support at 4,580

MACRO TECHNICALS

The market may have hit at least a temporary bottom on last Thursday before bouncing on Friday. The Nifty closed the week at 4,745.8 points, down 0.5 per cent week-on-week but up considerably from its low of 4,580 on Thursday. The Sensex ended down 1.34 per cent at 15,760. The Defty was only marginally down as the rupee held up.

Breadth signals remained poor with declines outnumbering declines. There were losses across every major market index
