Weekly foodgrains report

Prices of toor dal, gram dal, sugar and sooji moved up while urad dal and moong dal went down, wheat and maida remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market during the week under review.

Toor dal opened the week at the previous week's rate of Rs 5,600 on Monday and moved up by Rs 100 per quintal on Thursday and maintained the same rate at Rs 5,700 today.

Gram dal opend the week at Rs 3,050 on Monday and moved up by Rs 100 on Thursday and again moved up by Rs 150 on Saturday and closed at Rs 3,300.

Sugar opened the week at Rs 2,680 on Monday and marginally up by Rs 20 on Tuesday again rose by Rs 100 on Thursday and again rose by Rs 50, finally closed at Rs 2,850.

Sooji opened the week at Rs 1,750 (90 kg) on Monday and marginally rose up by Rs 50 and closed on Saturday Rs 1,800. 

Urad dal and moong dal opened the at Rs 6,200 and Rs 6,400 on Monday went down Rs.200 per quintal and closed at Rs 6,000 and Rs 6,200. Wheat and maida remained at unchanged for the week.
