Dry Fruits: Wholesale dry fruits prices surged in the national capital during the past week largely on the back of fresh buying by stockists and retailers, buoyed by rising domestic demand due to the "Navratras" festival.
Further, tight stocks following restricted arrivals from producing regions and overseas market also influenced the prices.
Trading sentiments remained firm mostly on increased offtake by stockists and retailers due to festive demand.
Almond (California) prices rose by Rs 100 to Rs 10,000 per 40 kg, while its kernel moved to Rs 350-360 from previous closing of Rs 345-355 per kg. Chilgoza (roasted) rose by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 1,500-1,600 per kg.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by up to Rs 15 to settled at Rs 635-645, Rs 595-600, Rs 535-540 and Rs 450-470 per kg, respectively. Its broken pieces (2, 4 and 8) surged by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 380-430, Rs 360-410 and Rs 280-350 per kg, respectively.
Copra prices traded higher at Rs 7,500-7,600 as against previous closing of Rs 7,300-7,400 per quintal.

Kishmish Indian yellow and green prices surged by up to Rs 600 to finish at Rs 4,000-5,000 and Rs 5,600-7,800 per 40 kg bags, respectively.
Pistachio hairati and peshwari prices also rose up by Rs 10 to conclude at Rs 1,005-1,055 and Rs 1,260-1,310 per kg, respectively.
