The Sensex which rallied smartly in the first three days of the trading week came down sharply later on to the end of week with a net loss of 75 points at 12,285. In doing so, the index ended its three week winning streak.Meltdown in the world markets, oil worries, Federal Reserve rate hike and state election results were among various factors that affected the markets during the week.The Bombay Stock Exchange, index, Sensex zoomed to a new all-time intra-day high of 12,671, before plunging to a low of 12,224 - a swing of 447 points.INDEX MOVERS & SHAKERSReliance was the major dragger on the index, the stock shaved off 42 points of the index followed by ITC (32 points) and HLL (20 points). Cement majors ACC, Grasim and Gujarat Ambuja accounted for the loss of 20 points each.On the other hand - HDFC added 38 points to the index followed by Larsen & Toubro (22 points) and Hindalco and ONGC, 18 points each.OTHER GAINERS & LOSERSNumeric Power zoomed over 100% to Rs 908. Bombay Burmah, Jay Ushin, Tera Software, Goetze, Bhagyanagar Metals, Adani Exports, Ramsarup Industries, Banswara Syntex, Punjab Alkalies, Gruh Finance, Ruby Mills, Ansal Infrastructure and Unitech were the other major gainers this week.Kalpatru Papers and TVS Finance plunged over 22% each to Rs 33.65 and Rs 27, respectively. J L Morison, Core Healthcare, Real Strips, Silverline, RCF, G M Breweries, FCS Software, Birla Ericson, Vimta Labs, Welcast Steels, Videocon Communications, Finolex Industries, Subhash Projects and TIL were the other major losers.
