Welspun India rose five per cent to close at a 52-week high of Rs 87.30 after the company posted a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September, 2009.
The net profit of the company rose 83 times to Rs 41.74 crore from Rs 50 lakh in the same quarter of previous year.
