In restricted activity, wheat dara prices fell marginally by Rs 5 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks.
Atta and maida also eased in line with wheat trend. Traders said reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks led to decline in wheat dara prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) shed Rs 5 to Rs 1,315-1,320 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by the same margin to Rs 1,320-1,325 per 90 kg, while atta flour mills lost Rs 10 to Rs 6,80-700 per 50 kg.
Maida weakened by Rs 10 to Rs 760-790 per 50 kg in line with wheat trend.
