Wheat dara declines on reduced offtake by flour mills

In restricted activity on the wholesale grains market today wheat dara prices traded lower by Rs 5 per quintal on reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks. 

Traders said reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks mainly led to decline in wheat dara prices. 

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) shed Rs 5 to Rs 1,325-1,330 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by the same margin to Rs 1,330-1,335 per 90 kg.

Atta flour mills and sooji also moved down by Rs 20 and Rs 40 to Rs 700-720 and Rs 800-820 per 50 kg, respectively in line with wheat trend.

Basmati rice (Lal Quila) 9,500, Shri Lal Mahal 9,300, super basmati rice 9,000, Basmati common 5,500-5,600, rice Pusa-(1121) 4,300-5,300, Permal raw 1,850-1,900, Permal wand 2,050-2,150, Sela 2,150-2,230 and Rice IR-8 1,750-1,775
