Wheat dara falls on increased supply

Wheat dara prices declined by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on increased supplies in the market against reduced offtake by flour mills. However, bajra showed some improvement on industrial offtake.

Traders said increased supplies in the market, against reduced offtake from flour mills mainly led to a fall in wholesale wheat prices. Wheat dara (for mills) lost Rs 10 to Rs 1,230-1,235 per quintal.

Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by the same margin at Rs 1,235-1,240 per 90 kg. On the other hand, bajra rose by Rs 15 to Rs 960-970 per quintal.
