Wheat dara rise on flour mills buying

In restricted activity, wheat dara prices inched up by Rs 5 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on increased offtake by flour mills. Maida and sooji were also seen in demand.

Traders said increased buying from flour mills helped wheat dara prices to trade marginally higher.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) improved by Rs 5 to Rs 1,260-1,265 per quintal, while atta chakki delivery traded higher by the same margin at Rs 1,265-1,270 per 90 kg.

Maida and sooji also moved up by Rs 20 each to Rs 780-810 and Rs 800-820 per 50 kg, respectively.
