Despite a record one-day gain by Sensex, the index dropped over 6% (641 points) during the week. The index ended the week at 9810.The index touched a high of 10,553, and the slumped to a low of 9201 - a swing of 1,352 points during the week. Friday's record 515 points surge helped the index pare some of its losses.INDEX MOVERS & SHAKERSHDFC was the sole gainer among the index stocks this week. The stock gained 1.5% at Rs 1,208, and added nine points to the index.ICICI Bank was the major dragger on the Sensex, the stock shaved off 73 points of the index. HLL (60 points), ONGC (46 points), Reliance (44 points) and Tata Steel (41 points) were the other major draggers.In terms of per centage, Ranbaxy was the major loser, the stock slumped 14.6% to Rs 365 followed by HLL down 14% at Rs 208. ONGC (Rs 993), Tata Steel (Rs 456) and Hindalco (Rs 159) were down 11-12% each.
