Taking weak cues from global market, zinc futures prices moved down by 0.10 per cent to Rs 110.90 per kg today as traders indulged in offloading their positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, zinc for delivery in January fell by 20 paise, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 110.90 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,617 lots.
The metal for February delivery shed 20 paise, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 112.05 per kg, with a business turnover of 32 lots.
Market analysts said a weak trend in other base metals at the London Metal Exchange and subdued demand at the spot market, weighed on the zinc futures prices here.
