In thin trade, zinc futures traded marginally lower by 0.29% to Rs 102.65 per kg today as speculators booked profits amid subdued demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the March contract traded lower by 30 paise, or 0.29%, to Rs 102.65 per kg in business turnover of 2,573 lots.
The April contract edged down by 25 paise, or 0.24%, to Rs 103.60 per kg in 299 lots.
Market analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators, slackness in demand from consuming industries at domestic spot markets mainly helped zinc prices to trade marginally lower at futures trade.
