Mercedes-AMG C63 S will be launched on the 3rd of this September. This will be the German manufacturer's 10th AMG model for India. This is the widest range of performance products that any company is currently offering in India. There is a C 450 AMG also that is likely to make its way into India.
The Mercedes-AMG C63 S will be powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine that produces 503bhp of power and 700Nm of maximum torque. The C63 S will be competing with the BMW M3 that was launched a while ago. This is the first AMG sedan for India to have the 4.0-litre V8 engine. The 5.5-litre V8 are being replaced by this new-generation AMG engine. The C 63 AMG wll be priced at INR 1.4 crore (on-road).
The C63 S will be mated to a seven-speed DCT box and will coming to India as a CBU. It does a 0-100km/hr in about 4 seconds and will be getting a lot more features than the regular C-Class. It will have three driving modes, Comfort, Sport and the Sport+. It will also get driver's heads-up display too.
