Renault Duster Explore is a new limited edition that has been launched for INR 11 lakhs and 12.2 lakhs (on-road for both in New Delhi), for the 83bhp and 108bhp variants. This limited edition model will be made available in RxL variant only for both. These limited edition models will be sold only for September 2015.
The changes on the Duster Explore are cosmetic. On the outside, it has a front grille with dark chrome, sporty racing stripes, skid plates, smoked double barrel headlamps and front armour with sharp headlamp enclosure. Then there are the dark alloy wheels that we have seen on the Duster AWD but these also get the new Nouveau Orange, sporty decals on the bonnet and even the sides and dark chrome finish on the tailgate along with the Duster logo.
On the inside, it gets Nouveau Orange theme seats fabric with orange door trims fabric inserts, even air-con get orange highlights, gear shift bellow with orange stitching, orange outlined floor mates and orange anodized instrument binnacle. There will also be the same Eco mode and gear shift indicator that will be carried forward in the Explore Edition.
The Duster Explore Limited Edition is powered with the same 1.5-litre dCi engine, which is available with choice of two power outputs 83.8bhp and 108.5bhp. The transmission options for these will be a five-speed manual and a six-speed manual respectively.The Duster facelift is due to happen sometime by early 2016, these limited editions will help the French brand to compete with the Hyundai Creta.
