TVS has unveiled its new concept motorcycle called the Akula310. The Akula310 is a tribute to 33 years of TVS Racing heritage.
The Akula310, which mean 'shark' in Russian, is a track machine and has been developed using inputs from factory race riders, and using cutting edge technology. It is a high-performance engine with forced air feed for higher revs. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox , which is a quick shifting one.
It has a lot of equipment too like upside down forks, radial calipers, a stiff space frame chassis as well as a lightweight carbon fibre bodywork. It also has am aluminum sub frame and a cast alloy swing arm. Other features include a fully digital instrument cluster and a steering damper for additional stability.
