Nearly 13 people have been killed and 36 others injured in a blast targeting a police bus in Karachi on Thursday morning.
The blast occurred near Razzaqabad police training college in Karachi's Shah Latif Town.
Muhammad Iqbal, a senior police official, said an explosive-laden car hit the police bus transporting officials for security duty.
Rescue teams reached the site and the victims were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
According to Dawn News, police said more than 50 officers were boarding the vehicle at the time of attack.
Moreover, additional contingents of police, Rangers and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) reached the spot and cordoned off the area, the report added.
