All the 11 workers trapped inside a mine in China's Yunnan Province have been rescued about 40 hours after a cave-in occurred, local authorities said.
The trapped miners were brought out on stretchers through a tunnel dug by rescuers, reported Xinhua.
The cave-in occurred at a stannum mine in Lianghe County at around afternoon, when miners were working underground. Local authorities said that the accident was caused due to a mudflow triggered by torrential rain in the country.
About 1,000 rescuers were involved in the operation to save the trapped miners.
