Two Naxals were killed in a joint operation by Greyhounds force and Chhattisgarh police in Bijapur district on Sunday.
The two Naxals were killed in an operation that took place in the forest of Pamed village in the district, said Deputy Inspector General (anti-Naxal operations) P Sundarraj.

The incident comes less than a month after BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi was killed in a Naxal attack in Dantewada district on April 9.
Mandavi was travelling from Kuakonta to Syamgiri in Dantewada when his convoy came under attack.
Polling in Chhattisgarh, where 11 Lok Sabha seats are at stake, is being held in three phases. While one seat went to polls on April 11, three underwent polling on April 18.
Polling in seven Lok Sabha seats will be held on April 23, and counting of votes will take place on May 23.
