A new survey has revealed that around 20 percent kids believe that Jesus is a Chelsea footballer or many other think that he is an astronaut.
Many kids were asked many multiple choice questions like: who is Jesus Christ? a) A footballer for Chelsea b) Son of God c) TV presenter d) X Factor contestant or e) An astronaut, as part of a survey for Brent Cross Shopping Centre, the Daily Star reported.
Many kids even replied that he was an 'X Factor' contestant.
Youngsters also think that December 25 marks the birth of Santa Claus and a fifth of them aged five to 12 believe Jesus was born in the South Pole.
And a quarter think his mother Mary gave birth to him in a church, rather than a stable, with 10 percent thinking Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer was present at the time.
Katie Tucker, Marketing Manager at Brent Cross, said that they wanted to make sure that children know the true meaning of the celebration this festive season.
