Four of the six accused in the Kamduni rape case have decided to move the Calcutta High Court against the judgment of fast track court delivered on January 30.
A Kolkata court had on January 30 pronounced death penalty to three convicts of the case, while the remaining three were sentenced to life term imprisonment.
The four accused who have decided to move to the Kolkata High court are Bhola Naskar, Imanul Islam, Ansar Ali Mollah and Amin Ali.
Six of the accused were held guilty for gangraping and murdering a woman at Kamduni village in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district in 2013.

On June 7, 2013, a B.A. second year student was allegedly gang-raped and murdered by few local miscreants inside an isolated compound at Kamduni village, while she was returning home from her college. Her body was found the next day.

Nine persons were arrested in connection with this case. Gopal Naskar, one of the arrested persons, died of fever and septicaemia in custody on August 1 last year.
