'Indiana Jones' is making a way back to the big screen.
Walt Disney Studios recently announced that the fifth installment of the hit franchise will hit the screens on July 19, 2019, reports E! Online.
Steven Spielberg, who directed the first four films in the franchise, will helm the as-yet-untitled project with Harrison Ford reprising his titular role as the adventure-seeking professor.
Disney, which acquired Lucasfilm in 2012 for 4 billion dollars, has taken over for Paramount, which released the first four films.
Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios, said in a statement, "Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can't wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019. It's rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn't be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.
