Twenty-four naxals including four women have surrendered before the Police in Kondagaon District of Chhattisgarh.
The Police said, the ultras, all of them hailing from Chhattisgarh, took the step as they were fed up with the harassment and discrimination meted out to them by their senior leaders based in Andhra Pradesh.
A dozen of these insurgents were carrying rewards ranging from one lakh rupees to five lakh rupees on their heads.
The rebels, who held different ranks in the outlawed movement, were active in Kondagaon, Bastar, Kanker and Narayangarh districts.
